  1. Fill an old fashion with ice, to make it well cold.
  2. While the glass is cooled, insert a bar spoon into the mixing glass, cover it with ice completely.
  3. Then add Amaro, Vermouth, gin and stir it well with a bar spoon.
  4. Strain out the drink throughout strainer, to avoid wounds of mouth cavity by small ice shards(fine-strein).
  5. Garnish with a orange peel.

History

Barristers in Great Britain are the high-caste lawyers.

The word "barrister" derivates from the English word “bar”, it is the barrier that separates the judge from the defendant. This is the highest rank of lawyer in Britain. Since the XV century, the prisoners could instruct "an educated and eloquent friend" to protect their interests. The barristers had access to the "judicial bar", thus they could be heard by the court in the interests of their client.

The barrister's speech in court is precise and sharp as a blade.

They use to say in England about gin that it is “as cold as steel” - due to the strong cold aftertaste.

British magazine Drinks International presented the 23rd annual ranking of The Millionaire's Club 2024 - a list of global brands whose annual sales exceed 1 million 9-litre cases. Barrister gin became the fastest growing gin brand in the world - an absolute champion in sales growth, up more than 57% year-on-year.

At the same time, UK publication The Spirits Business named Barrister as the 2024 champion brand, which showed an exceptional growth. LADOGA's Barrister gin has a dedicated page in the 2023 spirits sales figures issue.

Barrister gin is increasingly featured in the international news. Earlier this year, Barrister gin set another world record for making the largest gin and tonic in the world. Its volume was 2,000 litres or 10,000 servings.

The record registration took place in March 2024. Under the supervision of an expert from the Book of Records we prepared a cocktail based on 676.5 liters of Barrister gin and 1353 liters of tonic - all in a giant cube made of pure ice. The container holds 2,029.5 liters of gin and tonic - that's over 10,000 servings of cocktail!

LADOGA has started shipment BARRISTER gins to India. The first batch of 11,000 bottles was sent in September and arrived in the port of Mundra a few days ago.

LADOGA's partner, importer Alcostar Group, will sell the gins in 5 northern states of India. The first shipment includes 6 sku - Dry, Old Tom, Pink, Blue, Orange and Sloe. Nowadays, expansion of the range including Barrister Mumbai, the most Indian gin of all the Russian gins, is being discussed.

At the ProWine Mumbai exhibition, LADOGA presented the line of BARRISTER gins to regional distributors. As a result of negotiations LADOGA plans to expand the supply of BARRISTER gins across India in 2023-2024.
